The first week of school is finally over :) It was not easy, pretty much like being thrown back into the deep end of the pool without knowing how to swim. My whole planner's filled up already, and even upcoming dates have been filled with activities. They really meant it when they said that it was going to be full blast this term. And I mean FULL BLAST. No rest whatsoever. It's only the first week of school, and I feel like it's been a year. My brain's dead from all that work already, and I seem to always feel that sense of fatigue all the time.

The first week of school was rather eventful. So many things have happened, and so many things have changed too. I can say that I don't really know what on earth I'm supposed to be feeling. Happy? Sad? Depressed? Privileged? Everything's a blur right now. I'm really hoping that one day, someday soon, things will settle down eventually, and I'll be able to lead my life without so much distress in the way. Although, I can definitely say that life would be boring without all those challenges and obstacles to overcome.

Ms van Dijk's BACK! Really missed her jolly character and optimism :) The first IH lesson this term was spent catching up with her and talking to her, laughing together and definitely getting my mood back up :) Unfortunately though, she's not going to be teaching us all the time :( She's going to be rotating with another teacher, her good old friend, haha. Really hope I'll be able to be taught more by Ms van Dijk :( Really miss her teaching.

On a side note, I really don't like it when we change teachers for a particular subject within the year. I mean, I know it isn't their fault that they have to go on long-term leave and therefore require a replacement, but it just isn't easy for me to grow accustomed to another teacher's style of teaching. Last year, when we changed our Math teacher twice in a year, my Math really went downhill. I really hope my IH doesn't suddenly drop in standard this year :\

We had NYSE elections this week :) Well, before this, I never thought that the time for my batch to campaign for elections would come, and now, the elections are already over! Time really passes by quickly, whether you want it to or not. Well, the elections did not go perfectly smoothly, I would say, but it was a good experience :) Crafting out the campaign speech and actually speaking in front of the whole ensemble was hard and I definitely got a hell lot of butterflies in my stomach. Even the suspense before the results of the different positions came out made it hard to breathe properly.

Well, whatever the case, I congratulate the new NYSE exco upon achieving what they had! :D And thanks everyone for your support and your congratulations to me as well :)

All the best new exco~ We can do it :D

Looking at the hectic schedule I'm in right now, I don't think it'll ever be possible to see you anytime soon... :( I really wish I could.
