Urgency.

Quite a refreshing experience yesterday :) Haven't had much excitement in my life lately, and I had my bass exam yesterday! Initially I thought it was really too early for me to be ready, but with God's help I managed to get through the obstacles! Felt really at ease the day before after practising bass for an hour and 45 minutes, as well as yesterday during the exam itself :) And my examiner was really nice! He's so funny and he has unintentional humour :D Couldn't help but smile the whole time and he said, "You're laughing at my jokes!" HAHA.
The pieces were rather screwed, especially the second piece which I broke down halfway because I suddenly couldn't follow the beat :( Hope I won't be graded down for that! Gah. The rest of the components were alright I guess, much better than expected :) Scales were okay... though a little out of tune -.- Too little practise I'm thinking. Sight-reading was perfect :D It's so much easier when you only have to read one stave. Aural was kinda fun because my examiner kept giving me encouragement that I was doing well :) So overall it was FUN! :D
At the end my examiner said that I was a very pleasant candidate and that I smiled alot, so if I smiled alot in my life I would find that there will be a lot of success waiting for me aww! So inspiring :D HAHA, my mum just said that I could aspire to be a music examiner :) Well that's possible... And it'll be fun :D
We had Bio SPA yesterday, and I managed to break my first test tube. -.- During SPA. Ugh. I didn't know how the test tube could have broken, I was holding it only about an inch above the tabletop! And then I dropped it and it broke. Shattered, rather. (?!?!) Have to pay 50 cents for that. Eesh. Oh well, guess there's a first for everything!
HMP today was rather fun :) Really starting to love the instruments I play :D Mainly piano and bass aww! I don't want to neglect them anymore. I was recently very lazy to go and practise, but the day before my bass exam I practised and it felt so good! I want to widen my repertoire for bass and maybe bring my bass up to a level as advanced as my piano :D That'll be so cool! I'll have two instruments I can rely on :) But I have no time to practise right now because of block tests D: Okay, focus on one thing at a time! Studies first!
It's IH and Langarts paper tomorrow :\ I'm finally starting to feel the urge of the upcoming block tests. And EOYs too. I'm going to initiate ultimate mugging sessions for the next five days. That means very little or no computer, and definitely no blogging. Need to get focused!
