Keelhaul.

Sometimes, you have to accept the fact that you can't get everything you want. At times, people do something in order to satisfy the majority of the group, for the better of the group. You cannot expect to always have things done your way, because sometimes, your way just isn't the best way.
We learn to accept criticism, and we improve ourselves from it. Our choices make us who we are. We may choose not to listen, to be oblivious to the world and just do whatever we want; or we can choose to accept the truth, no matter how horrible it may be, and change ourselves for the better. Our choices mould our character, and what we learn is carried throughout our lives, down to the next generations.
I accept suggestions, I accept feedback. But the criticism I really listen to is the kind that I know will ultimately help me improve myself. If it were just some petty comment, I definitely would not take that into serious consideration. I know when to accept what criticism, so don't you judge me just by looking at what I may seem to be on the outside. I do what I do for a reason. And I do what I do for what I think is better. If my thoughts were wrong, then by all means, please do come and correct me. But before you think of insulting me, consider why I may take those kinds of actions. Is there a purpose behind it? Don't just assume if you don't know anything.
Don't try to gain fame just by influencing others. It doesn't work that way. And even if it does, that's just not the right way to go. You gain popularity for your humour, so called, but not your own true character. People have to accept you for who you are, if not how can they be called your friends? Influencing others just so you can gain popularity isn't how it should be done. Because that would just result in fake smiles and stupid lies, and the ending can't be pretty.
So don't bring harm to yourself just for those 10 minutes of fame.
