Well since school can be considered as a student's life, now that school's officially over for the year, I think it's time to have a little recount of the year 2010. :) It was a great year, probably the most meaningful one yet. I've gotten so many new experiences, so many opportunities, so many blessings. I definitely have not accomplished everything I've wanted to this year, but I can say that 2010 was a meaningful one for me. This year, I've matured a lot through experiences, and my life has definitely taken to a higher level.

First, Sec 3. Everyone is always saying how Sec 3 is a year of change, a big jump from Sec 2, and you'll need to adjust to the workload and all the new responsibilities you'll have. Well personally I haven't really coped perfectly this year, but I've put in my best. :) And I'm glad for everyone who got through this year! We did it! :D Hahaha. We got through the academic stuff, the politics, the shit, and loads of other stuff we faced this year. Whatever wasn't done too well, I'm just going to try harder next year!

Speaking of next year, Sec 4's going to be a real tough and crucial year. Gotta get my priorities right this time round. And the focus must stay there throughout. The final lap of secondary school - let's make it a good performance.

So many things happened this year, and so many experiences and opportunities. I thank God for this year, even though it didn't exactly go all according to plan :)

Firstly, I was monitor of class 312'10. Well, that duty's over and it's a relief. -.- Being monitor wasn't as easy as I thought, especially getting a special class like 312 to respond when you have stuff to involve them with. It was a good experience, I guess. I've never actually been monitor before ._. But I think once is enough, haha. It was a pleasure to work as the monitor of 312'10 :) Being monitor helped me to present myself appropriately, and to compare your own views with others'. I'm thankful for the experience :) Next year I will no longer be wearing that golden "Board of Monitors" badge anymore, and I gladly pass this duty down to our next monitor, Yinn Shan! Wish her the best of luck ^^

This year has brought new experiences, including you. :) It's almost been 9 months already, but it feels as if so much more time has passed. I feel so at ease with you, and you're the one person I can just be myself with without any worries. I thank God for you, and I know what we have is special. It's not like others; I don't know how to describe it, but I know it's... different. Something unique, something dear. :) Without you there would have been some things I would not have been able to get through. Thank you for everything. :)

Artitude! The concert that seriously sucked at first but then got better with time and eventually became so awesome and memorable :D It was a good experience, playing together with HCJC strings and band as guest players. The pieces were cool too: Pirates of the Caribbean and New World Symphony. Still love those two pieces :D Played with seniors and juniors, some for the first time, and some for the last. It was a totally great performance and I'll remember it for a long time :)

OBS was a tiring, fulfilling experience :) Felt like shit at first but after a few days it was enjoyable, and when it was time to leave I felt totally unwilling to go :( Still remember the kayaking, the trekking, the climbing, the pitching of tents, the cooking of food, etc. :D Such a wonderful experience, and it really teaches you to overcome your own limits and opens your eyes to a whole new world.

Diluculum! The last concert I've had with NYSE, and a memorable one. :) Even though the rehearsals were sometimes.... but overall the performance was great :D First time I got flowers for a concert hahaha. And before that I was complaining about how I never got flowers for performances... The flowers were part of my happiness HAHA. But anyway, Diluculum was a great experience, different from Artitude, but nonetheless fulfilling :)

HMP Europe trip! Wasn't as fun as I thought it would be, and I wasn't really looking forward to it either, but it was the first time I went to Europe! :) Visited so many places, and SO MANY churches. I must say that the churches there are awesome, because they're all so intricately decorated and their infrastructures are also very unique. Also had an awesome time with friends from 209'09 :)

AMPowered! My beloved YFC group :D And I don't regret joining it at all :) Met so many new people, and the group started some scandals LOL. But all that aside, I really love this YFC group as compared to others :) I felt so proud whenever I heard someone saying that our group seemed so much more happy and bonded. And we are!! Hehe. AMPlify was an awesome concert organised by us, and so many people said it was a great concert too! :D I love AMPowered~ Hope there'll be another outing soon ^^

God has blessed me with my wish to be president for NYSE this year. Well now I know how tough it is, hahaha. But that doesn't mean that I'm going to give up anytime soon. I know it's a huge responsibility, but I'm ready to carry this burden wholeheartedly for the next year or so. My passion for NYSE and my willingness to serve will help me carry on. :) My exco will make some good changes in NYSE, and we'll feel accomplished when we retire :D

I don't know if there's anything else, but that's all I can remember now for now haha. Well I'll try harder for everything next year, and I'll set some things right. It's never too late to turn around~ I've made it through the Sec 3 year anyhow, and I've grown more experienced and mature, definitely. I'll continue to serve and work hard next year :)

I just plugged in a new (old) CD player/radio :D The radio's working fine, but I'm not so sure about the CD player :/ Still trying to fix it!! Hope I'll be able to...
