Knight Cycling.
Cherith Knight Cycling 2011 just ended on Saturday morning, and now I'm still aching all over from that 50 plus kilometers of cycling throughout the night. Although it was exhausting, I think it was a great experience and wouldn't mind going again (just that the distance should be a little shorter, HAHA).
Really need to thank God for holding back the rain until the next morning at 9+, giving us good weather for the event. Heard from Priscilla that they didn't have any wet weather plan AT ALL, which meant that we were really depending on God to give us the best weather for the event, which He did! We're so grateful for that. Although they probably won't see this, I hope that all the friends YF invited had a great time just like us! I invited D to go hehe (and I think I kinda held him back because I cycled so slowly and clumsily :X).
I think this event has really been a great opportunity for us to reach forth to others, as a pre-evangalistic event to eventually bring them to Christ (especially for non-Christians). This has been the first major "reaching-out" event for Cherith YF, and there are many more to come. It's my prayer that one day, YF will expand from its now 19-member group to become a more than 30-member group. :)
