God never fails to amaze me sometimes. :) Worldly things fade away, but God never fades away. The time spent at church today was really great, and I feel so bad for drifting away from God. ): But I know that if we are true believers, God will bring us back when we drift away. He has His wonderful ways. I trust God with all my heart :)

Lesson for YF today was about Miriam (Moses' sister), how she started out as a very bright follower of God, having faith in Him all the time and also encouraging others to build faith in Him. But as her life progressed, she gradually accumulated sin which drew her away from God, and eventually, she and Aaron both started to greed for power and began to fault Moses in whatever ways they could. It does not matter how we start; what matters is how we end. Even if we start out by being very good examples of what disciples of Christ should be like, if we end our lives in sin, it does not make a difference with how we started off. Therefore we must start well, progress well, and also end well. Only true believers will be able to persevere to the very end. Thus I had to question myself: am I a true believer? I definitely want to end well, and to do so I must build a very strong and close relationship with Christ. Miriam sinned against God without fear of what He may do to her. Whenever we sin, we're indirectly telling God that we're not afraid of Him, that we do not fear Him. We must always keep watch of ourselves, and do what is God's will alone. No one said it's easy, but it's for God, and if we love Him, we will do anything for Him.

That lesson really touched me (courtesy of Leonard), and really, I want to build a strong life in Christ. Despite everything that may happen to me, I want to stay close to Christ and always trust in Him wholeheartedly. What about you?

Anyway, after having that lesson on Miriam, when I came home I watched Prince of Egypt. No matter how many times I watch it, the movie never fails to move me and amaze me about how God's power is so wonderful and powerful :)

National Day celebrations in school tomorrow, followed by a pretty loooong holiday :) Life is good after blocks :) Though I'm not really looking forward to the results hahaha :/
