Intervention.
March holidays are already half gone and I haven't really had any rest (yet), let alone start on holiday homework and revision. For the past four days including today I've been having some sort of day camp in school together with my campaign group, doing all the campaigning stuff. Not gonna post anything here yet though, because campaigning only starts on the 28th!
The campaigning process is a true eye-opener. I've never had to source for banner cloths or paint or fonts for posters. But of course the stress of having a deadline within the same week is a familiar feeling, what with all the other commitments from the times in NYGH. I find sourcing for materials quite fun, actually, even though I felt like an aunty with so many plastic bags slung around my arm. It was all really good exposure, and it's true how they say that campaigning in itself is a valuable experience.
We had to submit everything for approval today, and thank God we were able to finish everything on time (other than the video which still has to be amended) and everything was approved. Feeling that sense of accomplishment from having done so many things in the short span of four or rather three and a half days. Came to school everyday at 8am and only left when it was past 8pm, going home to do even more campaigning work online before going to sleep; that's why it felt like day camp. But all that time spent was fulfilling! Hopefully it won't go to waste though. There's always that fear in the air that putting in all this effort may actually go down the drain just like that. All of us don't know what's going to happen, and we don't know what to anticipate, so I guess we're all already showing great courage just by signing up for this. :)
I'm gonna be a mugger tomorrow and stay at home the whole day to finish up all my homework and revise for next term. Can't afford to be lagging behind now because JC is really fast-paced, not like high school at all. Praying that all will go well, and that I'll still be able to keep up with academics. :/ Also need to keep up with piano practice. Not sure whether I should still use bass as my second instrument or just stick to piano duet ): I still want to play bass, but the thing is it's very troublesome to carry a bass around for exams and everything. Furthermore I want to major in piano, so it may make more sense to use piano duet as a replacement for second instrument instead. I'm in another dilemma... :/
