It was Only Just a Dream.
I was thinking 'bout you, thinking 'bout me, thinking 'bout us, what we gonna be; open my eyes, it was only just a dream.
Combined practice together with the symphonic band today for Dvorak's symphony was awesome :D Haven't played in an orchestra since forever, and finally got to do so again today! :) Happy~ But with the brass section right behind the bass section we couldn't really hear ourselves playing even with 7 basses HAHA. Edwyna and Shirlynn came back to play! And Alwyn came halfway through the rehearsal too hehe. Today there were five batches of bassists at rehearsal :O Awesome possum.
Saw 39th Council having their camp this morning on the way to SALT centre for rehearsal. And while I still felt a tinge of sadness when I saw them having so much fun, I'm still kind of glad that I had to stay in Strings. I don't know, I guess each has its own pros and cons? Like I said, it's going to take a while to get over Council; it'll probably take a number of tinges of sadness more before I can finally be settled and satisfied in Strings. But I'm grateful that I have Strings as my CCA. :) And I'm glad for all those who got elected into Council too. Told myself this morning that even in Strings I will not regret when I look back in two years' time, and then I realised that those memories will encompass 3 SYFs! That'll make up a pretty awesome portion of Strings memories, I'm sure. Will just live out my best and not regret anything in the end. :)
I'm sorry if I've offended anyone in this post or the previous post, I really don't mean to :/ It's really my honest feelings and thoughts.
On Friday during Math, Mr Ng told us to take a photo of two extra questions which he wanted us to do at home as homework, so some people whipped out their phones to snap photos of the questions, and An Jian started camwhoring with his phone too HAHA. :) A couple of photos:
Have been reflecting a lot for the past week; it's about time I moved on, huh? Here's to the best over the next two years. :)
