Had mixed feelings about the two days of sabbaticals. Even though so many people wanted the whole week to be sabbats, I was quite happy that it only lasted for two days. Perhaps because I chose the wrong modules to attend haha. But all in all it was a good experience I suppose.

Throughout this week all the promos results slowly came back. I was honestly quite surprised for some of the papers and shocked for others. Some papers just make you think how your teachers really set the paper so hard as to kill the students. Especially when you look at the range of results in the whole cohort. But okay, I'll admit the results I got was really a lot more than I could ask for in general. For a first, I didn't expect to even get anything decent for some subjects like Chemistry, but amazingly I pulled it off. And for all this I have only God to thank for guiding me through the whole study process leading up to promos, even though it was full of stressful times. Thankful that I will definitely get promoted, even though there will be some remediation to attend during the December holidays. Right now I think it's kind of stupid to be sad/disappointed over not getting an A for a certain subject. (But surprisingly enough the only A I got was for Chinese promos and I was even ranked 10th in the cohort HAHA what a joke.)

And with that, J1 has pretty much been concluded. There are still ongoing lectures and the teachers are carrying on with the syllabus, but nonetheless there is a finality that comes with the release of all the promos results. The school year is pretty much over and the only thing I can say is how quickly it passed. I still can remember the orientation days as if they were just yesterday. It's rather ironic, how we always want the moment to pass while we're in it, but when we look back we realise how much time has already gone. It's high time I bucked up on some subjects (all of them actually) and start studying seriously for A Levels, which will come just as quickly as this year has passed. Really cannot afford to fall short of any expectations anymore, there has been quite enough of that. Looking forward!

Feeling pretty excited for Music A Levels actually, in particular the performance repertoire. Don't know what I'll choose as of yet, but I'm looking forward to a long term of preparation for the upcoming A Level assessments next October.
