Swallowing My Pride.
Had H1 Chinese A's today, and it went pretty well in my opinion. :) Hope that I've secured my first A Level A grade, if not I may just cry. :/ A lot of friends asked me whether I would take the exam again next year if I don't get A for Chinese, but I'm really not sure. For one thing, I worked really hard for that A so if I don't get it it'll be quite a waste, but on the other hand next year there are the core subjects to focus on and there isn't much time for anything else. So I don't know. Best outcome would be that I've secured my A this year already, though in the event I don't get A, I probably will decide not to take another Chinese exam.
One more week of PW spamming and then it'll be on to our actual OP. After one year of PW, I guess I've learned a lot. Had a nice talk with J today on this topic and looking back, we've really come a long way from sitting in front of a blank Word document trying to figure out how to start. After one year I'm glad that the PW teachers have been pushing us to make better WRs, submitting better copies every time. Because now that everything has been settled, we see that all those hard times have been worth it :) Really thankful.
I remember last year when I was going to record my Sec 4 HMP coursework, my HMP teacher asked me why my piano skills had dropped so much after the EOY assessment. Something similar happened this year. :( I guess my Sec 4 EOY performance was something like a prime time for me, and after that everything just went downhill... mostly because of how lazy I'd become. This really can't do. A Levels are coming already, and yet I'm still as sloppy as ever in my piano practice. Need to buck up desperately.
Sorry for all the ranting about schoolwork. :/ Just needed to get this off my chest somewhere.
