That Night.
In very much of a holiday mood right now haha. Don't feel like doing any work, yet really bored with not doing any work, and also anxious about work, so I'm constantly in a dilemma of whether to do work or not. But okay, at least so far I've completed the first two exercises for I&I. So that's a start, I suppose?
Life without PW seems so empty, like there's something I should be panicking about for PW but it's already all over. Feeling happy and sad at the same time. Glad that the most annoying A Level subject is now out of the way, and yet sad that all the ups and downs of PW are over. Perhaps now it's just best to hope that everyone in my group has secured our A grades!
Anyway, we had a class outing last Friday, to Sentosa :) It was much more fun than expected, other than the weather which was PMS-ing haha. Seemed like it couldn't decide whether to rain or not, so it was very hot, then became cloudy, and rained heavily after that before becoming sunny again, and the cycle went on. Played volleyball at the beach and went into the sea to play some more, ate lots of snacks and junk food and played even more. It was a really fun day at the beach :) Couldn't join the class for dinner that night though. But definitely a good bonding time with 12S73!

Rehearsals are resuming tomorrow, and we'll be seeing our conductor again. Time really passes by so fast. Seemed like such a short time ago when he said he won't be seeing us for the next few months until PW is over, and I even remember thinking that I can't wait for the day PW is over. And tomorrow we'll be rehearsing together again. How quickly this year has passed! Definitely the quickest year yet. But I believe that next year will pass by even more quickly than this year has. Gotta enjoy this holiday and use my time to the fullest.
Just a random thought, I'm gonna try to bake a blueberry cheesecake! After baking those jelly hearts with my lovelies, I think it sparked some interest in me for baking haha. And honestly speaking, not because we baked it, but I truly think the jelly hearts were not bad. So I'm gonna try to bake the cheesecake now and perhaps give slices to those I love. :) The only problem I'm facing is how to get the ingredients needed to make the cake haha. Haven't really asked my parents about it yet and I'm not very sure if they'll approve, but I'm sure it'll be fine!
Although I haven't been consistently doing work so far this week, I have been consistently practising piano, and I'm happy with my progress! :) Even practising a bit everyday will do, so long as it's consistent, I realised. I've been blessed with the ability to learn and improve fast in piano, and it's something which I really treasure. Glad that my teacher feels I've made progress; I just have to keep this up and hopefully get better each time. Don't want to make the same mistake I made last year of not practising for prolonged periods and then stagnating and even losing skills in playing. Will not make that mistake again. It's too close to A Levels to take that risk, so I'm gonna try my best to be consistent. In my other schoolwork as well.
VOTD:
"Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations." Psalm 100:4-5 (ESV)
