Wow, it's already the last day of 2012. Apologies for lack of updates, I was overseas in Hong Kong with HCSE and didn't have time to post anything. Today's post is going to be really short even though it is kinda a special day, because 1) I'm not in the mood (this will be explained later) and 2) I need to leave for the countdown party in church soon.

HK was a wonderful trip with my fellow strings batch and seniors. Our HK buddies were all really nice and cute and awesome. :) Through this trip, we really got to see another side of people, sides which we don't see everyday because they put on this facade in front of others. I guess that's what's good and at the same time bad about school overseas trips. You can't put on another face, and your true self gets exposed to others. The five days spent with them, even over Christmas were lovely. Got to spend time with PH, Weiyu, and a bunch of other friends that I love and cherish so much. It was a different Christmas as compared to those I always spend at home.

We went to some pretty cool places: shopping on the first day, and Ocean Park on Thursday (second last day). Got myself a whole lot of souvenirs and stuff, felt really happy :) And dear PH (also my secret Santa) gave me a planner from kikki. K which I wanted for Christmas! :) Thank you so much baby. Gave him a new pair of black drumsticks (which I secretly want for myself hahaha), and gave my secret Santa recipient a pair of shades (hope she liked them!)

I was rooming with Weiyu, and through the four nights together we really revealed more of ourselves to each other. Which isn't a bad thing, really, because now we're able to be more open to each other, and we've grown closer to each other as well. :)

Those carefree days in HK together with HCSE were great, and I was so sad to be back home and reality, but I suppose I'll get over that soon. It's seriously time to get back into the rhythm of studying and revising, especially with A Levels coming up next year.


Today wasn't really a great day for me because my mum has been bugging me about tuition and even about PH. I know she's probably just caring for me but it really hurts you know? Like I can't take care of myself or something. And my personal matters are my own and no one else's. Sigh, I'll get over it. Hopefully tomorrow will be a new and better start to a new year 2013. I'll post again about my reflections on 2012, and on my goals on 2013 as well.
