This morning, the faculty committees were moving thousands of water bombs to the terraces for war games later in the morning. As I walked into school, I saw many random groups of people helping to move the water bombs, for their own faculty as well as for others. I felt compelled to help and had to join in. Helping out for something to be used for J1 orientation felt so fulfilling. In my opinion, it's not just about the cheering or singing that lets people feel and express the HC spirit. Rather, it's really the littlest things that happen in the school premises that truly display the school spirit. Things such as chipping in to help when a group of Hwachong-ians are in need. That is what the HC spirit is.
