Post-prelims.
I haven't posted a proper post here in ages, about what I've been doing and whatnot. So here it is :)
After prelims ended (and wow, we survived prelims), I spent the few days after the last paper resting and relaxing, while preparing for my A Level practical which took place earlier today. I began reading some blogs and looked at several Instagram accounts with really classy food pictures and relaxing scenery and I can't help but think, Damn, I want to be like that too. But I've got A Levels to worry about as of now, so anyway.
Spent last Saturday afternoon with some of the best people I know. :) PH and I met up with R before going to meet J at the cafe, and it was so funny how I didn't trust PH with the directions and we ended up overshooting our stop and stopping one stop after that, and R thought we were at the right stop afterwards when we didn't even know it was wrong hahaha. We are a blur bunch, aren't we. So, we went to Habitat Coffee, a cafe at Thomson and had a great time laughing, almost crying from it, and just having a great time together. The food there was brilliant as well. And it was also my virgin tasting of coffee with coffee art on it!
After lunch we headed to Salted Caramel opposite our lunchplace for dessert. And it was lovely, spending another hour or so there just talking and laughing :) The ice cream with waffles was awesome as well.
Haven't had a proper outing with these three people in I don't know how long; it was lovely spending time with them and just relaxing together again. :) Really hope there'll be much more of such outings in the future after A Levels.
Went shopping with PH on Monday morning/afternoon, and it was such good retail therapy buying clothes which I know I'll enjoy wearing. Even though I was pretty regretful of spending money on clothes at first, I don't regret buying these clothes now haha. Again, hope there'll be more of such outings in the future after A's.
Well that pretty much sums up my post-prelims so far. Now that school has reopened, it's time to dive into the true last lap for A Levels. Oh yes, A Level practical was today, and I can say I've done my best for it. My friend was listening and watching me play and she said that I played better today than for prelims, which is a great improvement. Though there were some technical errors here and there I really have no regrets. And yes, about my LTCL, well, I didn't pass. I knew there was something wrong with that examiner's face when I walked into the room (cue Taylor Swift song). Ah well, but the level which LTCL aims for is way higher than that for A Levels. I hope I've truly done better than prelims this time round, that will be just lovely. Thank you PH for giving me last minute advice during my warm up time, and for being there to support me. Also, thank you R and J for coming by and giving me that delicious lemon cake from Starbucks. :) Really helped me to destress and manage my nervousness.
Alright, last lap. We can do this.
